Annotation on the Original Vibe Board 55"

With Vibe's Annotation feature, you can annotate on anything - from screencasting, or on top of any 3rd party applications.

This article applies to the Original Vibe Board 55″.

  • When using the annotation feature, you are also able to take crop the selection, take screenshots, and save these screenshots back to your Vibe whiteboard.

  • Customers often use our Screenshot & Annotation feature to mark up videos, applications, website pages, presentations, plans and designs. This feature is also very popular to use when screencasting from other devices.

Three scenarios where you can use annotation:

Scenario 1: When using 3rd party apps

  • After you open up a 3rd party app, you will see an annotation button on the status bar.

  • Click on the annotation button to start your annotation and you will see a new toolbar pop up with annotation tools you can use.

  • When you are done annotating, you can exit from annotation or you can save a screenshot back to your Vibe whiteboard (optional).

  • To take a screenshot, simply click on the 'crop' button and use the crop tool to select the size of the screenshot.

  • You can also decide which board you want to save the screenshot to (this function requires you to log into your account first).

  • After you save the screenshot, you will exit annotation mode. To start a new annotation, simply click on the annotation button again.

  • When you are ready to go back to your Vibe board to view your screenshots, click on the Launch Center to switch back to Vibe board.

Scenario 2: Wireless Screencast

  • Wirelessly screencast your device to the Vibe board

  • The annotation is set by default, so you can start annotation on the screen immediately.

  • When you are done annotating, you can exit from annotation or you can save a screenshot back to your Vibe whiteboard (optional).

  • To take a screenshot, simply click on the 'crop' button and use the crop tool to select the size of the screenshot.

  • You can also decide which board you want to save the screenshot to (this function requires you to log into your account first).

  • When you are ready to go back to your Vibe board to view your screenshots, swipe up from the bottom to show the status bar and switch back to the Vibe board.

Scenario 3: Using HDMI

  • Connect an HMDI cable from your device to the HDMI input in the back of your Vibe board, and a pop up will display showing that your device is detected. Click on the 'HDMI' button, and the Vibe board will switch to the screen of your other device.

  • The annotation is set by default, so you can start annotation on the screen immediately.

  • When you are done annotating, you can exit from annotation or you can save a screenshot back to your Vibe whiteboard (optional).

  • You can also decide which board you want to save the screenshot.

  • Click on the HDMI button again to quit HDMI mode and go back to your Vibe board or other applications.
