Dual Wi-Fi for screencasting for the Original Vibe Board 55"

If you're having network difficulty screencasting on the Vibe board, using Dual Wi-Fi/HotSpot could be a solution.

This article applies to the Original Vibe Board 55β€³.

For customers with wireless screencasting issues, including:

  • Inability to screencast through the network

  • Unstable wireless screencast

Dual Wi-Fi will set up a hotspot for you to screencast wirelessly, which is more stable and a smoother experience.

Please confirm your Model on the back label of your Vibe board:

  • For model V55N203W, we use a Type B cable port.

  • For model V55N201W or V55N201R, we use a micro USB port.

For model V55N203W:

Here are the step-by-step instructions:

  1. Click the icon at the bottom-right of the screen to bring up the Settings side panel. Select Vibe Cast.

  2. Select Cast Hotspot in the menu after enabling Vibe Cast.

  3. Enable Cast Hotspot. You can also name your hotspot, manage security and band and see the number of connected devices here.

  4. You can find the Wi-Fi name provided by the Vibe Board on the device that you want to cast. Make sure your device has connected to the Vibe hotspot before screencasting.

πŸ’‘ Note: To ensure the performance of the screencast, a maximum of 5 devices is supported. If you cannot connect, please first disconnect an existing device, then try again.

  1. Make sure the system version is above Vibe Scandium(2.6.6). If the system version is too low, please upgrade the system first.

  2. Plug the dongle into the USB port of the Vibe, USB 2 or 3 both work.
